So now it is Donald Trump who is trying to rein in John Bolton? (Bolton is the one who said that the only way to deal with the U.N. is to blow up the top ten floors of the U.N. building before George W. Bush selected as U.N. Ambassador, and who was one of the chief architects of the Iraq war and a long-time advocate of war in Iran.)

You know we are in a world of trouble when Donald Trump is the voice of sanity in a chaos-driven White House.

John Yoo, now teaching at U.C. Berkeley, as George W. Bush’s Deputy Attorney General, was the author of the legal memos justifying “enhanced interrogation” (torture). Yet this legal outlier is now the one saying the Trump administration has gone too far!

So Yoo thinks that Trump has gone too far, and Trump thinks that Bolton has gone too far.

Speaks volumes about Bolton.

Is it the oldest trick in the political playbook, or the second oldest? Start a war, wave the flag, run the next year on a national security platform.

The U.S. is looking for regime change in Iran. Is this the same U.S. that went apoplectic and investigated for years Russian meddling in American affairs?

This is what happens when you let Fox ‘news’ decide our countries policies.

There are too many players (Israel and Saudi Arabia among them) wanting war .. it is only a matter of time before the taunting becomes an “oops”.

Bolton is a Coward of the Highest order. He had his chance to go fight in a war he supported, Vietnam but he was “Too Busy” (His words) to go fight.

By the way, when Prince MBS says that the Saudis may go to war with Iran, they aren’t talking about themselves, they don’t have an army worth a damn. They are talking about the AMERICAN army.

I’m sure the plan is to blame the Iranians for some explosion in the oil field, attack them with the few F15s that they have and when the counter attack comes they will demand we honor our mutual defense agreements.
