I’d say Iron Butterfly, Jefferson Airplane, Innovation Umbrella, 6½ years of driving a delivery truck, followed by 17 years in a factory with high pressure punches. Anyone remember Innovation Umbrella? I think they were from Brooklyn; had a girl singer but many groups did.
I’ve been at locations with very loud music mainly in the 1980s. I often felt pain in my ears and thought “why is there immission regulation for workplaces, but seemingly not for discotheques?” And always when I read about the hearing problems of my generation I am in fact surprised that only so few people are affected.

I don’t like bands whose leads sing off key, especially Guns N Roses. (Bing Crosby also)
