Cosby can join Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer and Charlie Rose in the halls of disgrace. Just save some room for the biggest serial predator of all — the illegitimate occupant of the White House who thinks that being a “star” gives him the right to grab whoever or whatever he wants.
Not yet . . . and probably not ever. When you are rich and famous, you are allowed to be out on bail until all your appeals are over and done with. He’s probably got another 5 years of appeals before his fate is finally decided.
It’s only when you’re poor (and black, mostly) that you are in jail from the moment you are arrested.
Thus the blow-up when it was suggested that his bail be rescinded now that he has been found guilty. He’s already planning on fleeing the country and being behind bars without bail would definitely hinder that flight!
He’s 80 years old. What difference is it gonna make whether or not he’s in jail here or essentially in jail somewhere else the way Assange is in London? He’s ruined, no matter what. All one hopes is that this will make change the way women have been viewed by men as trophies and objects in the US.

I’ll probably never listen to my comedy albums again. “Lights Out!” will never have that innocence it once did.

Has Cosby been “lightened up” in this ’toon to make him seem less of a threat?
