    In Oklahoma, if the H.P. gives you a ticket for 1-10 MPH over the limit, it’s at least $250. The actual fine is only $10. The rest are fees to make up for tax cuts.

    I’ve always believed that motorists in red cars are most likely to be targets for the police. The trick is to blend in.

    Pa. gives you an extra 5mph before they ticket you, but then they give you a ticket with all these add on fees!

    Speed limit signs are all wrong.. If the maximum speed is 50 MPH it is physically impossible to do. One can NOT ever drive at the maximum of 50.. you will always drive something over.. be it 30 decimal places it is over. They need to re phrase the sign to Maximum speed is “LESS” than XXXX.

    He could probably fight that in court on errors in speed measurement (his and the cop’s) alone. (speedometers vary quite a bit)

    I would have expected him to get a ticket for driving 44 in a 70.

    So far, Texas gives you 9 mph over, but not 10. That could change anytime.
