Lisa Benson has been able to see a problem here and there with Trump’s policies and behavior. I wonder when she will be able to tie it all together to figure out that he’s a very bad and dangerous president.

I’m amazed how many pundants and citizens miss the whole point of this. This short term up and down and back and forth will end with less rigged trade agreement. I personally don’t think there should be caps on what we can sell or accept from other countries, having trade agreements tend to only favor large corporations, guaranteeing their future sales overseas.

The Trump Administration is an example of the ignorance of basic economic principles. The Economist Ricardo demonstrated 200 years ago the principles of comparative advantage and how relative free trade is a win-win for both sides. Similarly, pulling out of the TPP was a huge mistake for the United States. China couldn’t be happier to have more influence and control over trade in the Far East. As a major trading country, the U.S. is the loser.
