Under Bush2 when they had a recession, they reduced taxes, their was a perceived bump to the economy and then another recession until there was the great recession that Pres. Obama’s programs brought us out of and started the best economy in decades, until the following republican gave tax deductions and caused another great recession.
Republicans never have plans to pay down anything, they leave that to Democrats. Who, by the way, have done that during every Democrat administration, by decreasing deficit spending. Now if republicans will allow there to be surplus’ to pay down the debt.
