One of my all-time favorite Andy episodes was one where Andy was growling and scowling while walking out the door with a suitcase, and Flo was sobbing. Somebody comes up: “Excuse me, mum, do you know Andy Capp?” “I SHOULD do, I’ve been studying theatre under him for forty odd years!”

I remember Andy leaving home without his trousers. Until Flo sorted him out. He’s useless without her.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I won £5 at bingo and my Auntie won £15. It was originally supposed to be £30 but somebody else claimed too.

And I was only one number away from winning £80…

Yes, I use the electronic boards and you can get Optional Extras which I always get: First Chance, Charity Flyer, Special Ticket and Pot of Gold to name a few.

There are 6 tickets displayed on the screen on each page of the “book” and the numbers are marked off automatically so you never miss a number. It’s such a thrill to shout out. No matter what amount of money it is.
