With the loss of Roy Moore’s vote, congress will want a vote on the bill soon …. before more of the gifts to the wealthy in the bill are exposed for what they really are.
If Mitch McConnell was willing to hold off any Supreme Court nominees until after the election (“so the people can speak”) shouldn’t he hold off a vote on the tax bill until after Doug Jones is seated in the Senate? Wouldn’t that allow the people of Alabama to have a voice on their taxes?

REPARATIVE UPHEAVAL – {1.40 limericks and coda}
It’ll take a systemic upheaval
to quell our nation’s evil
of greed unbelievable
and hate inconceivable, -
- and achieve some relief by retrieval
of the American ways
of more halcyon days.
… Coda:
EVERYthing Rightwing and Trumpish must go; -
- otherwise woe will continue to flow.

I’m really surprised the Gop guy even cares how the middle class people feel. They’re not the consumers; they’re the product.

Too many sausages involved in this God-forsaken bill, and not enough oysters.

Another cartoon about tax cuts for the rich.
And yet again, ZERO comments from Trump Disciples about how it’s making America great again — or even that it’s good legislation.

Similar things happened in the 1920s and 1980s and 2001 – 2007 and we know how that turned out.
