I was unable to access new FAs recently and I didn’t know how to fill the void. I had painful flashbacks of those long, frogless weeks that turned into months a couple of years ago and then I… I shudder to relive that again.

Absolutely zero leaves during Winter, then trees bud during Spring. Suddenly leaves flourish during Summer, then finally leaves change to multiple colors during Fall..

What’s the plural of chrysalis? (should’ve asked one of the docents at the Butterfly Room of the American Museum of Natural History when I had the chance).

We all need to break out of our collective cocoons, and wing it, once and awhile.

Some Monarchs die in the pupa stage. If your pupa has been very dark for over 48 hours, it is probably dead.

It was, was it? Was it, really? Why a chrysalis? How long have you had this Butterfly Delusion? Is it time for you to go back to your nice, rubber room now?

Visiting hours are over. I must leave Froglandia Psychiatric Hospital for now….
