I get the shudders just thinking of all the faux pax that Trump will commit on this trip. OMG, but the cultural differences can cause so many misunderstandings as to be a total minefield to be negotiated with extreme delicacy. Something I doubt Trump can do. If we don’t see scandals in every country he visits it will be a miracle of the first order. Since the man has no empathy, he will not even know when he has offended or even why he has offended. Can you see Trump sticking to a prescribed script of diplomacy?

And here’s another insult that Trump is going to hand out on his last visit to Manila there is a summit, an Asian Financial trade Summit. It’s going to start the same day he’s going to leave. Rather than stick around for a few hours and show his face and be polite all around and then leave. No, he’s going to turn his back, walk away and insult everyone by just flat leaving and ignoring the summit. No one will get to save face from that performance by our POTUS. He will have insulted them all because he couldn’t wait a couple of hours before he left. And this was a summit he had already accepted an invitation to and turned around and cancelled to make matters worse.
