Silly wolf……his apartment is next door. Saw that happen back in DC when MLK was killed. Folks started fires that burned their own homes down. Yelling about injustice so burn your house down then bitch about it.

I don’t believe we’ve had a major fire in Endtown yet. Wonder what provision they have for handling one.

They can’t ventilate to the surface either, the plume of smoke would lead the topsiders straight to them.

This isn’t out in the open, they are in a large cave. They can all die from asphyxiation from this idiocy. Kill all the wolves….

Congratulations Endtown wolf-folk, your reputation now has a huge black eye from the irresponsible actions from a few of your fellows. The ensuing anti-wolf hysteria will doom you, for now none of your fellow Endtowners will trust you, for they’ll fear you, and some will hunt you down. Those wolves that are innocent and don’t bother their neighbors will be viewed with suspicion…and matters will worsen for them.

Every day I think things can’t get worse, but somehow they do. This is depressing. Come on, Aaron – we need some good news!

Should’ve started the fire in the barn across the alley – then he could have blamed it on Mrs. O’Leary’s cow. Or even Mrs. O’Leary herself, since she’s also a cow now.

@ CKCSMUM, re “Come on, Aaron – we need some good news!”: Fully agreed! This story is getting depressing – without any enlightenment as to what’s going on or why! Now, I’ve been called out before when I’ve brought this up; after all, this is a story about the post-apocalyptic world, after the “end of the world as we knew it.” But please give us some hope!

I continue to watch this strip due to the curious conflict between pigs and wolves – and its not-very-advertised similarity to today’s war between thin and fat people. Granted, Monday the story might turn a corner and go in a completely different direction. But regardless, I’m still with CKCSMUM on this one: Give us some hope, Aaron!

I’m just going with, this is a wolf-pig thing. No other residents are involved except this horse.

None even have names except Portia, AFIK.Maybe there IS No backstory at all. It is what it is. I still miss the characters we spent so many years with.
