On this day before Thanksgiving I wish to give thanks of Brian Crane for providing us with the delightful “Pickles” strip every day. I’ve been a fan of comic strips all my lengthy life. Although I am always looking for a great laugh in these comics they only come sporadically. I love the hunt though. A few strips provide simply a nice smile every day. “Pickles” is one of these strips. Keep up the good work Brian. I, for one, will keep reading them.
I was about 5 when I asked my mother to draw me a picture. She said, “All I can draw is flies.” I said, “ooh, ooh, draw me one!” and she did. Pretty good likeness, as I recall.
