Orchilla (or Orchila) is an island off Venezuela’s coast.

So this would be seabird guano.

I’ve been trying out the beta.gocomics.com It’s overwhelming. And not in a good way. I found myself getting lost in a sea of oversized images plugging various cartoons—most commented on, most liked, most popular, most favorited. Again, it’s too much of too much. I know what I like. I don’t need help. The whole experience is like someone in a store ambushing you so they can spray you with a cologne they think you’d like. The genres are hard to read because they’re in white against a background the color of baby poop. Every cartoonist’s page is different. Random comics appear at the bottom of some pages, not others. Whose page is it? The comic at the top or the cartoons recommended at the bottom? I’m not feelin’ the vibe of this new site at all. It’s like being sucked down a Burma Shave sinkhole on the way to Kalamazoo. Kilroy was here and Elvis left the building. All I see is a lot of big empty spaces and a gallery of sorts that attacks from the back. Where’s the coziness that exists now? A simple display of a comic and the comments under it. The rest is just powerlines and graffitti and unwelcome clutter. I forgot again… who are these changes supposed to benefit? If it’s the readers, I don’t buy that argument.

About the amount of check marks that BrassOrchid would receive next to their name on a chalkboard due to misbehaving in grade school..

Some days, I cannot define a distinction between Stewart Copeland and Scott Joplin, except that there isn’t a notable Janice Copeland, as far as I am aware, unless one visits Branson. Not the Virgin Galactic Branson. That’s something else. I suppose you could visit him, though. But he might not be taking visitors.

The figure in the post is wearing the tradition headdress of the guano collectors; it keeps the “crop” rolling so it doesn’t accumulate on the top of your head.

My favorite part was “permanently enriches the land”.

If you have enough guano that it will never be used up by plants, then you have enough to kill any plants.

I might cautiously try a Little Toe sack of seabird sh*t, but I’m for sure not going to drive myself batty analyzing it. Let the crops fall where they may!

No crop marks on me! Teehee!

Corn harvest stubs are to remain left behind, and toes are quite vulnerable within the comfort of your own home as one is shuffling through an/a (un)familiar dark and unlit personal private property dwelling..
