    The analogy has it’s roots in a German children’s book, comparing Jews to a poisonous toadstool in a basket of mushrooms.………………………….Trump’s tweet has clear parallels to Streicher’s children’s book, where a boy named Franz learns about the Jews from his mother:

    “However they disguise themselves, or however friendly they try to be, affirming a thousand times their good intentions to us, one must not believe them. Jews they are and Jews they remain. For our Volk they are poison.”

    “Like the poisonous mushroom!” says Franz.

    “Yes, my child! Just as a single poisonous mushrooms can kill a whole family, so a solitary Jew can destroy a whole village, a whole city, even an entire Volk [nation].”……………………………https://theintercept.com/2016/09/20/nazi-who-originated-donald-trump-jr-s-skittles-metaphor-was-hanged-at-nuremberg/

    Libbies love to accuse people of racism. Occasionally it’s warranted, but usually it’s just used to arouse an emotionally negative distraction to keep people from thinking about whatever was actually said. Libbies want you to ‘feel’, not think.

    We all know that Trump’s father was a bigot (as is Trump, as is Little Trump), but were his grandfather or great-grandfather or so forth also bigots? Perhaps somebody should look into this out of sheer raw curiosity…..

    When Woody Guthrie thinks it’s important enough to write a song about Trump family values, we should take notice.………………….Old Man TrumpWords by Woody Guthrie………………………I suppose that Old Man Trump knows just how much racial hateHe stirred up in that bloodpot of human heartsWhen he drawed that color lineHere at his Beach Haven family projectBeach Haven ain’t my home!No, I just can’t pay this rent!My money’s down the drain,And my soul is badly bent!Beach Haven is Trump’s TowerWhere no black folks come to roam,No, no, Old Man Trump!Old Beach Haven ain’t my home!

    Shouting discrimination is the first sign of weakness.

    It has become the liberals only card to play.

    Night Gaunt; long time ago as a kid in Southern California, the word “beaner”, was perhaps the precursor to Trump’s wall they will pay for. A lot of them were my friends, so didn’t use the term. Years later at my high school reunion, was noted by a friend from back then that I was about the only one in our school who didn’t see people as “different”. Being raised by bigots gives some people the guidance NOT to BE ONE! We ALL have some prejudices, conscious or subconscious, but that doesn’t always boil over into the bigotry of Trump and way too many of his devoted followers.

    Talk about spilling the beans;

    More Than 99 Percent of Paul Ryan’s Tax Cuts Would Go to the Top 1 Percent

    Ryan, like Trump, supports massive corporate tax reductions, which would most directly reward shareholders. Conservatives argue those sweeping cuts will be good for economic growth—lowering the tax burden on companies, they say, will make it more profitable for them to invest in things like new factories and R&D, putting the country on the path to greater prosperity.

    http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2016/09/20/more_than_99_percent_of_paul_ryan_s_tax_cuts_would_go_to_the_top_1_percent.html

    The republicons have been giving all the tax dollars to the richest, since Reagan, making the little guy pay for the difference, while ignoring the infrastructure. No wonder the country is in bad shape.

    “ …Police have reports that Cetin’s ex-girlfriend worked at the Macy’s, Francis said. The possible connection was under investigation.Cetin has a criminal record that includes three domestic violence charges in which his stepfather was the victim, the Seattle Times reported, citing court records.He also was arrested for drunken driving and barred by a judge in December from possessing a firearm, the newspaper reported without providing details. Reuters was unable to confirm the reports.Police did not identify the victims but local media said they ranged in age from mid-teens to mid-90s, and included a mother and her daughter. The Skagit County Coroner’s Office said it planned to release information about shooting victims on Monday. …”http://www.reuters.com/article/us-washington-crime-shooting-idUSKCN11V058

    I saw an episode of “the view” where Jr. saw. was the guest, and he looked like some kind of Throwback.He has longish hair with the greasy kid stuff in it, a dark suit that was a bit too big for him and either what he had to say, or the way he said it, that seemed a bit odd in a creepy somehow.Junior is what this is about, right?

    Apparently Trump wants to make nice AND lay down in the bear’s den. How about the Dragon’s den? Or the Kim’s den?He’s already lain down in the serpent’s den with lying, greed, pride, gluttony, adultery, and all the other sins the “family values” crowd finds abhorrent in others.
