In which case, it would have been a better idea to make the entire room the elevator after all.

Maybe we will learn more about the rats now!

I was surprised to see him there but it does kinda make sense.Love the parrot’s expression. Birds, chickens always seem to be on the verge go looking wild-eyed and crazy.

Actually rats don’t have furry ears. If they Did have furry ears and tails everyone would love them. I had lots of pet rats and they are one of my favorite pets.He should leave the crabby duck for the 2nd shift. Toss out the troublemakers and the like.

I don’t think they managed to get all of the refugees out before the Amesworth radiation. Can’t remember. The rat is so calm and collected. Who would have thought they would facilitate getting folks to Endtown?

I still would like to know the origin of the Endtown rats. Note how much smaller they are than the others. I doubt very much that they are humans who have changed due to the virus. I hope Aaron explains it sometime.

Since the rats aren’t morphed humans, what we have here is either a morphed pet animal, or a lab experiment. Or an early attempt by Nintendo to expand on the Pokemon Go craze.

It occurs to me that this could be reality and still be interactive with Wally and company. Illusion or not, this is one of a series of realities that are copies of each other with the time frames offset. Some things are slightly off, like the war starting a tich early, but for the most part they the same. If a tiger knew that people from the next world over were going to be watching these events, he could talk to them even though they aren’t really there. If Lynn were warned that Holly’s future boyfriend would be watching from the stairwell, he might not believe it, but he’d still give dirty looks at the spot where Wally would be. Someone like Marx would have to be giving them spoilers, though. For the greater good.

My guess is t hat this is a holodeck style interaction with dittos creating the illusion. It is mostly playing back Holly’s memories and occasionally interacting with Wally & crew. Since there are a lot of dittos at work here, the illusions are more solid and dangerous here. I assume that the ship’s systems are involved with this and that they provided the food for the meal Wally & Company ate at Ernies.I also suspect that some of the scenes we’ve seen, like the view from the ship and the guy fishing on the dock, are not really part of the illusion but were put there by Aaron to add a little context. These are just my guesses and given the curveballs Aaron’s thrown so far…

I don’t think he has told any thing much about the rats’ origins, I’ve read the whole thing also have 1st four books and the big book 4.Where did you see that some rats have furry ears? I would like to see them.Have you seen pictures of the mole rats? Poor thing are so homely, naked with 2 big teeth! Like you, I think they must have been lab changed by the military.Have you heard of Hero Rats? They are Gambian pouch rats and are trained to find land-mines. They don’t get blown up by the bombs because of their size and learn to find them quicker than dogs, who have been blown up once in a while..
