Spoilers have been around since movies, I think. I remember when I was a kid in the 1970s I went to a movie theater and one of the movies being shown was “Two Minute Warning”. Outside the theater where it was being shown was a poster with a red light over it. When the red light was on it meant that no one was going to be seated because they were showing the last five minutes of the movie and they didn’t want anyone giving away the ending.
Just tell him to go ahead if he wants to. It will only cost him everything he has collected so far. What’s he going to do. Tell the police that someone took all the money he’s extorted?
