Politicians are proof of the Theory of Devolution, none more so than the current crop of front runners for both parties. I think they can teach zoo primates a few more finer points and techniques of poo flinging. Especially via Twitter, after hours when the pr advisers aren’t available to moderate the stupidity.

once all the candidates convince us that the other won’t make a good president, canceling each other out…we might as well vote for a monkey

Normally, it is the politicians slinging the crap at the base.….@Dogsniff : You are the winner.

When it comes to this election, there is little to choose between a chimp and an ape.

When I was around 5yo, Momma took us kids to the zoo. My sister go too close to the monkey/ape cage (that’s how long ago it was, before protective rails were invented) She was wearing a beret or tam. Monkey snatched hat off of her head, filled it with chocolate soft serve, and politely offered it back to her. I know you will find this hard to believe, but I laughed.

Barnes, according to the National Enquirer, which has been dead on right several times in the past, Ted Cruz already is listed there. He really protested far to much IMPO. It was kind of like the way others-especially preachers or other uber religious-protested, before the truth finally emerged

There’s never been a candidate from one of the two major parties (this late in the primary season) with such a disconnect between what he actually knows and what he erroneously assumes that he knows, as Trump. Little Donnie is a man (to use the term extremely loosely) who knows incredibly little about any of the issues, and yet thinks that he knows it all. This is caused by being rich the day before he was born. All his life, Little Donnie’s been surrounded by sycophants and yes-men. Whenever he says something that is flat-out untrue (whether from his massive ignorance or his massive dishonesty), his yes-men have always refrained from correcting him. It would be sad if it weren’t so funny, but it’s also pretty scary, too. Trump’s base is even dumber than he is!

Government employs people who are there, in the vast majority, for what they can do FOR people. Politicians, especially lately) go for the job for what they can do TO people. Zookeepers and the monkeys.
