I wonder if this is where we say goodbye to Kirbee. I personally doubt it. I think the only thing that keeps her from following is her concern for Chic.

Wow. Now I have to agonize through the weekend to find out what happens to our intrepid explorers. :-(

I just wanted to include a couple of the older strips to let some of the newer fans know that Holly was not always ths shrewish nutcase she has been for the past few years. She was very sweet and caring and loved Wally very much. At this point we do not know if it is a one way portal. Holly has not returned….yet. And given Wally’s statement to Kirbee I can’t see her hanging back too long.

Just a recap on the Lucraneans:Looking over the past strips, I notice one of the screens in the Opabinia Queen’s bridge shows a wormhole, so they apparently can make portals to other places and other worlds as easily as Marx does. Maybe that’s how Marx does.If they are terrestrial, maybe some dinosaurs had the technology to survive extinction 65 million years ago and stayed in protective bunkers until it was safe to come out. By then, humans had repopulated the planet, so they stayed hidden.Endtown may be in an abandoned Lucranean bunker.

Anybody else miss the times when it was just Albert and Gustine

Holly. is clearly a loose cannon. unfortunate for the rest who prefer being cautious.I suspect her severe mental instabilities are beginning to manifest themselves in ways that might get others killed besides herself.Wally, while torn between to women has to make a hard decision.Did he make the right one?We’ll see…

If Holly ever, eeeeever doubts Wally cares about her again, she should be slapped repeatedly until all the drama is knocked right out.

When Holly sat all night at Wally’s hospital bedside, I suggested “The Holly and the IV”.

Hey, if Wally just stands halfway through the portal, will he look like a cat scan?

It’s one of the hallmarks of live in this universe. Everybody’s suffering, most people have lost almost everything and even the folks who are on top of this world have lost things. I imagine even Jacob, who was on top of the Endtown heap is worse off than he was before the end.The thing that’s really hard to take here is seeing how hard this is hit Holly. She was a stable and kind healer for so much of the story line, it hurts to see her as an insane loose cannon.Good work Aaron.
