A good friend of mine, who was dying of terminal cancer, had his wake while he was still alive, so that he could say goodbye to everyone ,and could enjoy one hell of a going away party !He passed away a few days later – no ceremony or funeral, just fond memories of a great man.
Great idea! And a great opportunity to go “one up” on any unfortunate adversaries who happen to attend. Bwahaha! No, really, going out with a great party has long been a fantasy of mine.
