This has nothing to do with the strip. But I wanted to share; Thanks to all our vets and current military. And while death be not proud, there are honored dead..Taps
>>>>>>>>>>>>>In Flanders fields the poppies growBetween the crosses, row on row,That mark our place; and in the skyThe larks, still bravely singing, flyScarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days agoWe lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,Loved and were loved, and now we lieIn Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:To you from failing hands we throwThe torch; be yours to hold it high.If ye break faith with us who dieWe shall not sleep, though poppies growIn Flanders fields.>>>>>>>>>>>

To all my fellow Vets, everywhere.Thank you for your service !
I think there’s a misprint or a spelling error here. I think Wiley meant to say " there is a feline between being a good listener and giving a rat’s patoot".
The difference is that the “Good Listeners” have learned to occasionally bob their heads as if they were paying attention..Some even go so far as the say “Yes Dear”.

I love how they all have dog dishes in front of them…

This is so preposterous! When would a cat ever serve dogs?(or anybody for that matter)

Who listens is inconsequential. The purpose is to sound your own depths. But have you tried sliding a quarter back and forth on the bar from paw to paw?

One of the reasons I loved my dog, was that I could tell him anything and everything, and it didn’t matter to him – he was deaf from birth !

My cat used to give every appearance of listening attentively to me – til he’d just walk away in the middle of what I was saying.

Are those dog tags in the rack? Maybe for swatting potoot carriers.

It was not a Duty to Serve but an Honor. I’d do it all over again.

Politicians start wars and expect soldiers to finish them.
