Soon Enough another mass shooting is predicted but is described as unforeseeable. Heavy tears and expression of shock are expected. The Long-Range calls for Congress to install plywood on the Capitol to protect against storms of outrage and demands to do something.

I would like to see a Constitutional amendment about the “Right not to get shot”. Maybe we can start a petition and get an amendment going?

It’s not the Bill but how it’s interpreted. And right now, we are interpreting it as individuals trump ALL of society’s needs. And dealing with 2nd Righters, they only see the one amendment and use its power to threaten the rest of us.

But the NRA and Congressional Rethugs have effectively bottled up the issue. I would be fine with applying the same licensing procedures we apply to cars, but NRA members will scream oppression. Hell, we can’t even legally collect data for research.

No. Just pass the laws. They will stand up, and if they don’t, just try again. As usual, the people are way out ahead of the money driven congress on this.

@greenearthmanBut if you want to ensure the the confiscation of guns, stay on this present course. The public outcry will presently mean that “they” will indeed come for all our guns!-———————————————————————————————————-There are over 300 million firearms in private hands in this country, so the chance that “they” will ever come to confiscate them is the same chance that Daffy Duck will be the next queen of England.

Twice a year 3 or 5 weeks discussion after that….but overall “all quiet on the Western Front” like usual the last years. The madness goes on. This is the really sad thing about that..
