Since porcupines have spines all over much of their body, I wouldn’t think untrimmed toenails would be such a big deal. On the other hand, that’s part of what makes this funny. I find it’s interesting that Morrie’s wearing his eyeglasses in bed. The picture of a cactus over the bed is a particularly nice touch.
