If a team is behind by a goal or two near the end of the game, it isn’t uncommon for a hockey team to pull the goalie, and mid-ice or longer goals, into the unprotected net, aren’t all that uncommon. Do soccer teams do that too? If they don’t, I’m wondering if Lloyd’s last goal is the longest ever in a World Cup match.
