Were there 20 spotless private bathrooms or just one soon to be spotted bathroom for 20 people?

That is nothing new, opera houses invented box seats centuries ago. Look at the two seater box seats adjacent to either side of the stage: http://www.springeroperahouse.org/plaintext/rentals/emilywoodruffhall.aspx

Back in the day, as an education major, I was told that book publishers tailored their text books in order to appeal to Texas because Texas was the largest, single purchaser of text books. I have never verified the accuracy of that statement but, if true, it would explain the dumbing down of text books. Right, thanks. In https://www.tsl.texas.gov/ref/abouttx/secession/2feb1861.html, the word “slave” is found 21 times in various forms. The word “slave”, either singular or plural is found 18 times. Lesson learned: Never try to think before having your morning coffee!

A little help please. I wanted to find that document so I googled: Texas “declaration of secession” . The only authoritative source in three pages of Google hits was: https://www.tsl.texas.gov/ref/abouttx/secession/2feb1861.html and https://www.tsl.texas.gov/ref/abouttx/secession/1feb1861.html. Another interesting website is http://www.constitution.org/csa/ordinances_secession.htm#Texas. Problem, I could not find the document where the word “slave” appears 18 times? RSVP if you can find the document referenced in this strip.

Right on! Is there a doctor in the house? Is there a reader with a biochem or microbio degree that can talk bacteria, virus, parasites, nasty chemicals or creepy crawlies?

Get ready to puke. Go to Youtube and search on Polluted water in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. There are videos from AP, BBC and CCTV. Thanks, IOC!

Excellent advice. Source: http://www.cbo.gov/sites/default/files/cbofiles/attachments/49892-Outlook2015.pdf“The federal budget deficit, which has fallen sharply during the past few years, is projected to hold steady relative to the size of the economy through 2018. Beyond that point, however, the gap between spending and revenues is projected to grow, further increasing federal debt relative to the size of the economy—which is already historically high. By 2025, in CBO’s baseline projec-tions, federal debt rises to nearly 79 percent of GDP.”Good stuff.

Dear gentle reader, I would like to inform you that the sum of $57,057 is your share of the national debt of the United States, the sum owed by each citizen. Have a nice day.http://www.usdebtclock.org/
