Man, she’s one cold-blooded killer…. because she’s a lizard. I look forward to Jim’s fiery corpse giving her a big ol’ kiss by Friday.

What a way to wake up for Kirbee and the rest of us!Kirbee’s coming through, will she stand with her own kind?I hope not, for she is outnumbered, and Wally’s selfless act will do little to sway the crowd. How, and who will save the day?Jim left Holly’s apron by the exit, clearly a message. I’ve seen lizards loose their tails, they really do not bleed much. Perhaps Kirbee’s vascular system has human traits.

Just how happy is Piotr with this current turn of events? Is he going to just follow along behind someone this unfocused? If the entire colony was destroyed, they should be looking for new shelter and food, rather than wasting time on Topsider-style genocide vengeance.

Like I expected. It looks like she used Jim and created the other fire and the eggbreak by herself. (Even if fingerless Jim could climb walls I don t think he was able to kill 2 or 3 fully matured lizards in the eggroom)Only after such a disaster she can make a whole new start with her well choosen surviviors, where no one asks who is the boss.

I must say, I’m actually disappointed in Sarah as a character—not her being really evil in the end, but just that it seemed like the flip of a switch.

She started out scared and dependent, but the moment things went her way she changed. While there are many individuals who DO that sort of thing, there was no fore-shadowing to it (at least in my opinion).

    I’m just left feeling wanting…

Seems like Sara may have also had that schizoid thing happen to her, she certainly seems like the spirit of a lizard has infiltrated her mind.

About the apron, didn’t kirbb have it the whole time?By now we can be sure that Jim will arrive at this joyless party. Kirbee and Piotr will meet..Maybe she brought Clive, psychotics can be so unpredictable.

These folks came here by another route.

Salen Stormwing, I think you are right.

Sarah had an escape plan, that much is certain. It does seem like Sarah decided to do a little “colony cleansing”.

Except Jim isn´t dead … yet.

And regarding Sarah, she most likely used Jim from the start – her mutating into a reptile just exposed her “true” nature..

Sarah is NOT Philomena. Even when she was at her worst, there were those of us wondering what was driving her actions. I don’t think there are many followers, old or new who haven’t figured out this is just a power grab by a sociopath.

Piotr looks upset like he is reluctantly seeing the light as far as Sarah goes. He is going to rebel against what Sarah is trying to pull. Somehow Sarah’s part in destroying the eggs and setting the fire is going to come out.

This is in reply to Mr. Sherman’s comment (reply button not working for me):

Absolutely agree. Those who want to seize power can always find someone to blame for the current woes experienced by the populace, i.e. Hitler, etc. She’s not mad, just cold blooded.

I ’m not sure she knows about the source of the stadium fire(??) Perhaps she is only aware of the original fire (wonder how….) and assumed that was the source/cause. Does seem like she has become power mad and is capable of anything.

She seems eager to get the guys out of the way. I wonder if my theory of the topsiders attempting to weaponize schism syndrome is true (after all, what better way to wipe out the mutants, than to trigger one of them into going Hannibal Loki on their colonies?).

Sarah puts on a show for Jim, getting him emotionally involved as part of the experiment before telling him she has cancer, they “escape” to a colony where the population has exactly the sort of Ayn Randian mentality she does (hell, now that I think about it, they have the same hair), and is fortunately the same kind of lizard she happened to turn into.

She then scorns him and triggers him into schism syndrome, he burns down the colony, she blames it on Holly, Wally, and Chik, and will likely also doom the surviving lizards by ratting them out to the topsiders. She may wind up with her brain in a jar in the end, but she’d still be a “hero” to them.

I don’t think Sarah was ever never evil. She ditched Jim at the drop of a hat, never seemed to give a lizard dropping about her cohorts, and now seems to be the leader of a mob. Hey, if you hadn’t robbed them and locked them up, your city wouldn’t have been burned! But I’m sure she’ll try to make it seem her way. . .

Any chance Furbee was being run out of town, and decided to act like she was leading a parade? This still doesn’t seem quite right. She’s been there maybe three days or so, and is now the colony leader? Helena and Constans were leaders. How did they get deposed? Unless Derby here, destroyed the hatchery, and possibly set the fire. As a pretext to create problems then seek power. Order from Chaos. Create a problem when you already have a good plan to resolve the problem. Piotr seemed smart, but willing to go with the flow. Who knows what secrets Herbee tortured, or tockled, from him while they were chatting

I did not know Bud Wright, or his son, except by his son’s clever and witty posts here on GoComics. I will not reveal his son’s userid because that is not my place. However, Mr Wright lived long enough to see one last Father’s Day with his son. By his son’s posts, we may know that Mr Wright did pretty well.
