Here in Tucson AZ everyone is on a cell phone, especially in parking lots. Like drunk drivers [or worse a drunk texting]would be effectively discouraged from texting/talking while driving if there was a state ban on texting/talking while driving.Insurance companies could then charge a bundle if ticketed for texting, & more if it caused an accident.
I was behind a young woman who was texting, she was going super slow and swerving. I got right up behind her and laid on my horn. You saw her car jerk.

Actually, driving instruction schools don’t teach parallel parking anymore.

Couple of weeks ago I had a guy in van come at me head on into my lane. He was trying to get his cigarette lit.

This is a good addition to the test. When she crashes and fails the test she will know not to text while driving.

Most laws attempting to enforce a ban on this asinine, ridiculous and totally unnecessary activity are pretty much unenforceable!

A lot of communities have laws against Texting and talking on cell phones! The problem is that it’s Really Hard to Legislate against Stupidity!
