Republicans look at the auditorium for the 2016 GOP Debate. Seven chairs on the stage are for the audience, while all of the rest of the seats in the auditorium are for candidates. Republican: We finally found a place big enough.
I agree, I would like to support a sensible, moderate republican but the party is clearly having a melt down and appear to be unable to accomplish anything useful.

Too bad they can’t find a “Mark Hatfield Republican”, with some intellgence and integrity. Yes, I know, all parties, not even just the “majors” are faced with that problem today. Intelligence is shunned by the populace, and integrity just confuses their narcississtic little minds. The politics DOES, sadly, now reflect the culture at large.
“Independent” means not affiliated with any political party. The political views of an Independent can be anything. People who identify with one party or the other tend to develop a gang mentality and close their minds to independent thinking.

And my overestimate of the audience is that when their IQ’s are summed, the total will be well into the double digits. As for the debaters…

The number one issue is who hates Hillary (and Obama) the most.
The number two issue is Jobs, Jobs, Jobs (for comic relief).
The number three issue is… oops, we’re out of time.
The first debate will be moderated by Sarah Palin.

I for one would love to see someone running who’s a real leader. Haven’t had one of those since Reagan.

The only REAL independents are those brave iconoclasts who go their own way, hating all Democrats and loving 98% of Republicans.
