Crayons. They are not edible. They do not put the pig in pigments. This is why colored pencils are better.Your dog will not eat your pencils.Your yard will not have pigmented droppings. You will come to see this as an advantage.

And if the police are coming, hide all the colors under a covering of black, to be scratched off later. The Maltese Crayons – the stuff dreams are made of.

Me, too. I loved magenta! Magenta and periwinkle. (Sounds like a good porn name; Magenta Periwinkle.) (Well, either that or some unpleasant postpartum condition.)

Smooth-talking con man, pushing black market foreign crayons out of the trunk of his car? Seriously? Am I supposed to trust this guy? He looks like an undercover cop running a color-entrapment sting operation. Color me skeptical. The only good contraband out of Canada was hooch, back in the bootlegging era….

I love this song from “The Magic Crayon.” Come and Get It ( The video I would have preferred to link to had scenes from the movie, but there was a bit of “peach” showing, so I daren’t.)

More years than I care to remember, I had an art class project where you would Crayon an entire sheet of cardboard of whatever size, covering certain areas, leaving others un-crayoned. Then with a fine tool, scrape away “details”, then finally lay on a wash of India ink to achieve a colored and stark black result.I don’t know of any examples I could link to to illustrate the idea.

Atop the walls the soldiers were boiling bluetonium to dump on the invaders when they set their ladders against the walls. The siege was long and difficult, but the Crayon People remained sovereign and drove off the invaders, whose withdrawal was long overdue.
