Just don’t try giving hay to the old cow.

Sometimes Opal is really mean!

As Lady Bird Johnson said about President Lyndon Baines Johnson,“He’s a randy old goat.”

And Opal is a shrew.

or an old bat

or an old nag.

And feed grandma some dog food…

Maybe she’ll take him to the fabric store.

sometimes people tease each other with love.

People, including kids, who are bored are generally boring.

I’m glad my grandparents didn’t hate each other like this.

Sounds like my parents. Mom called dad an old goat and dad called mom an old shew. Oy.

But they did/do love each other.

I have never been bored. My parents taught me a love of reading and they encouraged my imagination. Thanks Mom& Dad.

katfromky: Family tradition says the same about my childhood; I certainly don’t remember any such time. However, the same folklore says there were times when boredom would have been preferable to what I was doing.

Hey…maybe Opal is just evening things up a bit from Earl’s recent remarks about people who may have criticized her Red Hat/Purple Dress ladies group and somehow disappeared…. We all have fun in many different ways and even different days.

Earl, goat stands for “greatest of all time”

they don’t hate each other. it’s one of those loooong relationships that have a bit of a punchandjudy show to them. but they love each other they’d be lost without each other.

Being bored, you really need a hobby or get away from the computer. Go for a walk, maybe or take a drive in the country.Kids should not be bored.

Opal must have been channeling the comic Tim Allen when he said his wife walks in on him as he’s standing over the bathtub naked…She said…….wait for it……" Did a goat walk in here?"
