Who’s in his recliner watching pre-season baseball games. Oh, that would be me. Finally, Spring has sprung and there is goodness in the world again - and lots of baseball.
“Whom” for direct objects and object of prepositions, please. I know it is disappearing but it is a meaningful inflection and communication is muddier when we use “who” for everything. (Yes, I’m a old curmudgeon, and proud of it.)
Who is on first
What on second
I don’t give a *dam short stop
I Don’t Know third base
Why left field
Tomorrow pitcher
Because center field
Today catcher
I always thought “Who’s Who” meant something until they invited me, then told me I had to buy their expensive book. Oh well, another illusion down the drain.

“I’m in Wikipedia”.
So am I (at least one of my Web sites is cited as a linked reference), and that certainly wasn’t _my_ idea. (I was rather shocked to learn it, too.)
