Living on Ballard St, Arthur has a lot to write about and whistle at. Trouble is, nobody cares. Poor Arthur, thwarted in his endeavors!

    Yawn……I gotta get to bed….

Wednesdays I work at the evening farmer’s market….not many tomatoes in yet…but oh, the strawberries!

Gonna have strawberry pie in the pie shop tomorrow…

And I have to check out the remodeling at the old farmer’s market….

It just re-opened as a co-op supermarket, at the corner of Ballard and Rose…..

Glad the farm animals have a place to work with benefits and competitive pay….though I guess they don’t sell bacon.

@Doh, Good luck with that oral surgery; I’ve had a lot in my day.@Annette, thanks! And glad your 2nd family were better than the birth parents. (and I did not build things in engineering, but programmed the AutoCAD menu and such as well as designing many things that were built by others).

Love the beer bottle band, Bev. I sampled 2 of the dark beers that I bought yesterday with my supper. New boyfriend is getting me interested in other spirits and I think we’ll add brewing to our shared hobbies. He is joining SCA for me and I’m learning the square dancing for him and we both do jewelry crafts and cooking. Brewing we can do together and it fits into the Medieval thing too, but besides beer, I will want to brew mead.

Its not the alcohol that has the flavor….its the mixings. Alcohol is clear, colorless, and odorless. Its also a poison, drug, and a FOOD. It has caloric value. There is social drinking which nothing is wrong in moderation and the kind I many times have to deal with. Its okay however….I will raise a beer to your health……how do you feel about recreation marijuana??

Oh here is a shout out to a contributing artist to the Go Comics line up. Aaron Neathery of Endtown has taken really ill. His strip will go on hold from sometime till he gets better which we followers of his strip do really hope for.Artists and authors are precious…..the loss of one is a terrible thing for us all.

What is it about a man and his whistle which is so endearing? Is it a call to attention? Or is it the transformative effect of restoring order? Can it right a wrong or just signal a break in the action. Its not like you would jump for joy but usually half the people will like it. Arthur it is comforting to know you have a whistle and as Shirley has said time and time again you know how to use it. Shirley says bears are afraid of the whistle, dogs will come and cats will simply ignore it. I’m a bit surprised myself, it’s only Thursday, but on the other hand it is a long weekend, better get ready and stay ready.
