Hey, if we can trust BP to drill oil wells a mile down in the ocean, then we certainly could trust the likes of Google with all of our important personal data!!
Unless the NSA has a few billion spare people to READ all those dang things, they’re merely taking up space. True, in cyberspace instead of a deserted warehouse at the edge of town, but taking up space.
Now gathering government secrets, and selling them to China? That would be Israel’s function (note who our convicted spies were spying for). 33 new departments for “Homeland Security” from Bush, and all that private contracting (read “Top Secret America” by Dana Priest) or shop at Target, MIchael’s, or any online store, and you’re vulnerable, “captured”, maybe not, but definitely vulnerable. BTW: do NOT use a debit card on line!!
