9:50am EST, and I’m the FIRST ONE TO POST? How is that possible?!If you ask for summer stuff in Christmas, you’re askin’ for trouble. Mind you, if you don’t have a birthday in the summer time, then you need to do SOMETHING.MY birthday is 5 days before autumn starts, so I get euchred on the summer stuff. C’est le vie.

I live in southeast Virginia. It can be 30° on Christmas day or it can be 70°. As a kid, it never failed. If I got outside gifts (skates, bike, etc) it was freezing or rainy. If I got inside gifts (puzzles, games, etc) it was gorgeous.

Its hard to find summery or spring type stuff in November/December. I get into themes sometimes with Christmas. Try finding gardening gloves, brimed hat, hand tools, the starter trays – bezides the right book in winter. Even the garden shops had limited supplies.
