High speed rail, wind and solar pipe dreams, environmentalism from hell, highest taxes in the nation, California is just a high speed train wreck today.

We shall see how the future plays out. CA can only raise taxes and chase people away. Soon it will be left with no industry. Look at Illinois, Detroit, your own cities. Bankrupt and all for a socialist dream. If a man wants to eat, a man should work.

TTM, California is rated by Forbes as being the worst state for business ranking 50th. In the last 10 years over 28,000 companies have either left or gone out of business. The entirety of aerospace manufacturing has left the state now where once California was the world leader in that market.Companies are fleeing the state left and right. Between all the problems caused entirely by government there those companies find no reason to stay.

California has shot itself in the foot, thanks to public proposition voting. Long ago, the citizens decided that personal property taxes could never be raised. (Tell me with a straight face that that is a liberal concept.) It’s still that way. Property values have skyrocketed; the tax base that protects those properties have not. Such is the consequence of the idea that all taxes are bad.

Texas has been stealing everyone’s business. Low taxes, low regulations, no health care. A robber baron’s dream. Sooner or later, though, the uppity people who move to Texas will want good schools, clean water, and a modicum of health care. When that happens, we’ll see how wonderful Texas looks.

You can ID a smart native Californian by their address. It isn’t in California anymore.

California is not only the 12th largest economy in the world, it is also the only state in the US with a GDP economy over $2 trillion ($2.2trillion, to be more exact). Even the agricultural products of California are worth more than the agricultural products of the next three states, combined!!

California is just about the only state in the US that could actually make a go of leaving the union and still survive (heck, knowing some of the types of people here, we might even be much better off!). But the US Economy (even in better times) certainly would tank almost overnight at that kind of over all GDP loss!! Further, least 50% of all of the goods entering the US from Asia come through either the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, or San Fransisco. So, as our own country we could then charge enough of a tariff on such goods going on to the other states to even lower our own taxes by a very large amount. I am certain that you people would not mind paying that much more for such goods for our benefit, now would you?

However, be at rest, even though Californians pay $1.00 to the federal treasury and only get back some $0.78 in benefits, there are enough of us in this state that still love the good old USA to block such a move forever even though (we like Texas), also have our own ultra conservative nutcases that want us to succeed from the union!!

I do not disrespect any of the other states in the US. They all have their own problems and advantages, just as California does. So, I really do grow tired of all of the unmentionable creeps here that disrespect my own state. Perhaps, you would like to live in some ultra conservative place like Somalia? After all, we are supposed to be the United States, not each other hating other states, in the disunited states!!
