We all tend to shrink a bit as we age.

It really cracks me up how something that has been all over the news for the last week or more ends up on Ripley’s so fast.

Mt. Everest trivia- When it was first surveyed, the surveyors kept coming up with 29,000 feet, but figured that they’d be accused of guessing, so they put down an official figure of 29,002 which is still listed on many maps today.A more recent survey came up with 29,035 +/- 7 feet.

It all depends upon what you use as a baseline.Mt. Everest if based on sea level.Hawaii if sea floor is used as the base.A mountain in the Andes near the Equator would qualify as tallest if center of Earth was used as base line, due to the Equatorial bulge!

Did you know that it’s the male seahorse that gives birth to its young?

Seahorse IN the wine, not wine made out of seahorses.
