Despite what the movies show you, bowler hats were more popular in the old west.

An East African mountain gorilla would make short work of one acre of peanut plants and still have enough left over for several 10 gallon hat braids.

I can’t believe anyone would be ignorant enough to think that a ten gallon hat would hold that much water. One of the most stupid entries yet, should be on Ripley’s as such.

Does 75 lbs of plants end up as more than 10 gallons of ape poo?

Poor Gorilla needs that much food just to keep up his spousal duties to the females of his troop.

A ten gallon hat may not hold ten gallons, but it can sure as heck hold two quarts of barf!

One of the best sandwiches is a Fluffernutter. PB and marshmallow. When one of my daughters was in LA, I had to send her the marshmallow because no one out there had heard of this marvelous combo.

And most of those that were not Bowlers were still open crowned. The Stetson Boss of the Plains was a Popular model.

I knew it wasn’t that big, but the actual origin was news to me.

Some people expect the advertisement to be correct. Calling them “ten gallon” means that. Until we see it actually doesn’t and never did. Just an error in speech versus actual words transliteration.

Joe Wise recorded a song called “Peanut butter & Jelly”.
He recorded mostly religious songs & songs for kids!
My favorite sandwich is peanut butter & pickles!
