See this is why I have the opinion that all education should happen through YouTube.(Seriously, I do think that YouTube is a powerful educational tool, though not really because of this.)

There are countless planets beyond our solar system. I’m guessing there are only so many ways they can look, and a few might resemble Saturn.

I like the idea of changing the channel when some people are talking…… but since no one’s invented a way to do that…………I just tune them out!

Ah, how I weep for America. It’s true. Children don’t like school, and understandably so. The American school system is based off of the Prussian military academy. They don’t teach. They just get people to memorize random facts and follow orders.

I’m not sure why Ms Wormwood bothers. Calvin’s going to fail that class anyway.

I always hated history in elementary and high school. It was always the same thing — a bunch of dates to memorize and people I didn’t care a whit about. And always the same US-centric view of things. It wasn’t until post-grad that I got interested in history — and realized what a pathetic, limited, dry, one-sided view of history I was inflicted with in elementary and high school.

Yes—it has gotten almost as bad with reality programming, paranormal, and other stuff (pawn shops anyone?) that there is little history there anymore. Sad.
