I confess, I don’t like the way Ed wears his hat. Fedoras are classy as they are. There’s no need to mangle the brim the way its shown here.Other than that I’m liking this strip, particularly the way Sam can find humor in Ed’s statement and then be embarrassed.

When he exposes himself, then he’ll really have nothing up his sleeve. And the audience will definitely be distracted.

Off topic – is the site displaying differently for anyone else? I no longer have everything available on one page, but now have to click on each strip from a scroll bar along the top. Wanted to check before I fire off a nasty letter to someone. :3

Cop humor……..Ed is no “cop”.He does however act just like a federal agent. None of them have any humor either. Just try to joke with TSA or FBI.I would have told Sam she was part of the act. That was the surprise.

Reminds me of “Are You Being Served?”, when Mrs. Slocombe’s numerous references (in all innocence) to her ‘pussy’ routinely produced gobsmacked reactions, yet it never occurred to her that it could be taken the wrong way, which of course is what made those moments such a riot.
