“Approval of consentual sex with a 15 year old is a d-baggers’ re-election scheme.”1) I not aware of any state where the age of consent is 15. If you’re going to make vague allegations about consensual sex, get the age right.2) That is not limited by politics. Many years ago a Republican prominent in local circles in my state was arrested for grooming and raping a 15 year old boy.
What we need is an end to “safe districts” and gerrymandering. There are sensible people who have had long terms and newsies who are nothing more than demagogues and ideologues.
Term limits get rid of a few honest servants of the people, but the bad ones from gerrymandered districts are just replaced with the same old same old. Look at Texas 4th; Sam Rayburn would have been replaced by Ralph Hall before he could have gotten the New Deal passed.
Here is a link, you’re going to be shocked the age of Consent in a couple of States is 14 to 16 years old. http://www.webistry.net/jan/consent.html A simple Google Search retrieved this information. Now you need to apologize as you have been proven wrong.I used Google to search for age of consent laws before I posted the comment you falsely claim is wrong. Your source doesn’t post its source for the data and is copyrighted 1999. For all you know, your source is 14 years old and possibly just made stuff up. My source does list its sources and also lists the last time it was updated. There are a couple of specific circumstances where the age of consent is as low as 12 in a couple of states, however they do not apply to the of the post I responded to.
Was he arrested for grooming or raping? You are so confusing. I didn’t know there were laws against ‘grooming’.Actually there are states where 15 is the age of consent. You should have someone show you how google works so you don’t appear ignorant to the rest of us.Grooming is when a person tries to set up and prepare another person to be the victim of sexual abuse. Be familiar with the terms used before calling someone else ignorant. As for the age of consent, my source says that except for a few specific circumstances that don’t apply to your post I commented on, the lowest age of consent in the US is 16.
Molon Labe: I don’t know where you get that big lie (I have seen it before), but by 1936, unemployment was reduced to half that of 1934 (and then they eased off the programs, causing a double dip which wasn’t reversed until 1938). I know where I get mine (Department of Commerce figures and the Rayburn Library in Bonham – less than a mile from my house) plus the fact that I was alive then. Where were you?

It was reported that Nancy Reagan slept with a little handgun under her pillow.-I guess that’s Republicans’ favorite method of birth control.

Their plan “A” is to screw the other party, anyway. That’s why they need a plan “B” contraceptive—imagine the mutant offspring they could produce!?

There already are term limits, in the 22 amendment to the constitution. What kind of free stuff do politicians get?
pam Miner almost 11 years ago
the 2 parties are never close enough to need anything close to contraception.
