Wait until the political parties latch onto it.
Think you get annoying campaign fliers in the mail, or see ridiculous ads on TV now? Wait until they can pin point your innermost fears and secret prejudices and/or desires.

My deepest sympathies that you are so insignificant you haven’t gotten any yet. I get lots of them. And I have ‘Block pop-up windows’ turned on, but the ads STILL pop up.

I like the way he included the “one weird trick” schtick.

Spy on us but make the private sector pay for it, that would make some here happy.

First when I heard about Snowden giving the story about the NSA, I wondered why he gave it to an British News Paper. Still, I thought the story had to get out there and was glad. Then he ran to China and thought What; I felt sorry for him because he would never be able to come home and his story would have more credibility if he stayed.

Now, this mourning, quotes from his blog a few years ago he said the reason he was mean and unhappy was that he was not Hugged enough as a child and the American Education System turned his back on him, Poor Baby. Maybe we should wipe his bottom for him. For the first sense this thing began I believe the NSA might not be doing anything to bad.

I doubt the ones making money off of it would be here.

About half of the local and international espionage going on are private enterprise at work. I would think some people here would be four square behind it.

The NSA has been doing it for years. Working with the FBI and CIA, two smaller organizations.

“Why? because I can see the stupidity and hypocrisy of man?”

I already knew you could do that. No, it was because you were willing to agree with a liberal.

Your points are well taken. And you have a very good reason to believe that incorrectly-recorded information can hurt you badly in the long run. I myself had a friend tell me that my graduate school listed me as being deceased. This did not ruin my life (no pun intended), but it is a decent illustration of your point.

Ok how did we get to your point from mine. I mean intellectually. “I doubt the ones making money off of it would be here”, are you talking about newspapers. As for espionage I doubt it is that much and working with CIA FBI. Why government agencies talk to each other. If they didn’t you would be the first to complain.

    Its the Plutocrats.

I heard that “The Week” ran a column this week on 5 ways Snowden’s story doesn’t hold water. Don’t know where they got their sources, but when he says he’s willing to let the Hong Kong courts and people decide his fate", it sounds like he’s unraveling, and may have been unraveled from the start. And if this guy was an analyst, why did he think China was the place to go Harley: Your first post made me laugh. I used to laugh with Mallard Fillmore when our local paper carried that strip. A good friend of mine and I agree, that you don’t have to like the politics to find the point of view funny.

Private enterprise spying. Does that sit well with you? They seem to have no restraints that the govt supposedly has.
