Hey, I worked hard to look this way. Like I tell my kids, they’re the ones who are responsible fro every grey hair and every worry line on my brow. Trouble is, they don’t buy it !

Earl, not everybody can pull it off with the savoir faire you exhibit.

You can bet that once everybody starts wearing Enhanced Reality Glasses and personal holographic personas, NOBODY will look like an old grandpa … or an old grandma, either.

As a Grandpa, I find this amusing…..as a member of the Lions, I would have preferred to hear her say, “donate them to the Lions so they can give the gift of sight to perhaps a Grandpa who can’t see his grand children”…. But that would not be as funny.

I’ve been reading this strip for years and I’ve never seen him. We rarely see the daughter. It’s usually just Earl, Opal and Nelson.

Since Sylvia gets to throw away something of Dan’s that he chooses NOT to throw away, that gives Dan the right to throw away something of Sylvia’s that she prefers not to throw away. I have little doubt women will disagree, rationalizing that opinion by agreeing with Sylvia’s baseless, illogical “reason.”

Dan appears in one of the Pickles collections…If I knew how to post a picture on my IPad, I’d show you. He’s skinny and has black hair….

I don’t think Nelson wasts to hear that, and neither do my grandkids…

This is the first time I’ve heard of a reference to Dan.

In other words they make him look cool.

In the second panel they look like those you could put on over regular glasses. Wouldn’t mind having a pair of those. I’m tired of my clipons.

There’s a old guy that I know that wears those kind of glasses that I see from time to time..I always ask him..“Did you just get back from the eye doctor with your eyes dialated?’..He always says..”Huh?"(poor guy has alzheimer s)

She doesn’t see her dad as old, that’s why she said that.
