Our dog loved drive-through car washes. She enjoyed barking at the rollers and “chasing” them away. Convinced she had saved us from them, her eyes sparkled as we drove away.
I remember going through a car wash with my dad when I was a kid. It was fascinating like a ride at the amusement park. Afterward I wanted to go through it again.
dcunning: Ultimate is the last; penultimate is just before the ultimat; antepenultimate is just before the penultimate. Fortunately, I don’t think there is a term for the one just before the antepenultimate.

Yah think, Earl. Opal is the penultimate woman. Most of us of older years can say we know a woman just like her. Often up close and personal.

There are a lot of us out here who are beginning to resemble Earl. And yes, I have thought about doing that to a certain someone – more than once !

Her hair was brown before that incident.

On the plus, if you do your own car wash, it costs less. Minus, it costs to get the supplies.

Yep, he accidentally reached right across in front of her and turned that window crank!

I remember electric windows started later than Earl’s car. So Earl’s old car has hand crank windows. How did he open hers?.

I remember the drive-thru carwash was a great place to make-out. The attendants were always amazed to see how heavily the windows had fogged up.

Power windows in a ’50 Starlight Coupe? Studebaker pioneered a lot of innovations, but I know my ’50 Studebaker did not have that as an option.

I always remember to put the top up… Don’t want the engine to get wet. I know… I Know.

I was wondering how Earl opened her window too. Earls old Studebaker would not have had power windows.

Btw, nice pic of the Lotus 7 Number Six. For those who don’t speak British, “hood” refers to the top and what we call the hood is called the “bonnet”.

It actually sounds fun and I’ve saw people do it.
Nobody likes to be reminded of a traumatic experience, Earl.
LOL xxx

Keep asking, Earl. She’s BOUND to forget eventually and you’ll get to do it again.
