NOTE: Whoever is in charge will kill people either by action or inaction. sometimes the only question is which route kills the fewest citizens.-For example, if weapons of mass destruction were being produced and were used to kill ten million Americans, we would be angry they were not stopped before it happened.-We didn’t find them in Iraq (unless you count a few chemical weapons). We might soon find them in Iran, if we look. We know they are in Pakistan and India.-A few years back we found some highly enriched uranium in a research facility in the former USSR. It had just been used to make neutrons but there was enough for a few fission bombs. The stuff was on a shelf, basically forgotten. There may be more which was forgotten and it may never be remembered if we are lucky.-We don’t know any of them will be used on us. Maybe they won’t. We know extracting them would get people killed. Not stopping them only MIGHT get people killed, although many more if it happens.-Decisions, decisions. WHAT WOULD THE KING OF ID DO?
