Sounds like Earl’s been getting gardening tips from Bill Murray?

I have always believed in a “natural” landscape – mainly, because I’m too lazy to pull weeds. Live and leave me alone, is my motto.

This afternoon after finding that I just ran out of weed killer,I went out to my pathetic looking lawn with a propane torch and put the flame on all of those little fuzzy balls and sent them to their maker… I figure if I burn their seeds then the little so and so’s won’t re produce any more.

If you get then early enough, Dandelion greens are good to eat, but once the buds start to come out they get bitter..\\//_

Sounds like a rather extreme remedy.

I hope Grandma tells what all dandelions are good for including food for Bees, making wishes and wine, the root for re-mineralizing the soil and for clearing our blood… and this herbicide propaganda ENDS.

Any excuse to blast away with a shotgun is a good excuse.

It keeps away both the riffraff and J Witnesses.,Other than that, I like dandelions, blowing the seeds

He would rather have holes in his lawn!? Pretty extreme. lol I remember picking them for my mother and my kids picked them for me, so they are sentimental to me.

Mother Nature uses fire. Vinegar & dish soap sounds like a spinster’s aperitif.

Does vinegar and dish soap really work to kill weeds?

I don’t recall the Pickles having such a large window before. Looks like it might go with a cathedral ceiling. That would be new to their otherwise bungalow type house.

I gave up years ago when I found the upwind farmer wasn’t interested in killing 40 acres of dandelions.

Nope, I checked and Earl’s using steel shot, he’s very environmentally conscious, other than his single irrational dislike of dandelion, of course.

Do any of you remember a comic where they used large firecrackers to get rid of dandylions.? Crankshaft?
