Click-to-enlarge image can be found here or here. Smaller enlargement can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry.Portrait of Count Baglioni (could find no info on him) is privately owned. This (different coloration, click-to-enlarge image) says it’s in Treviso, Italy.Another different coloration, enlarged image can be found here, and another one can be found here. The artist’s Wikipedia page and collection (more under Subcategories).Fifth, of the 5 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here.
In his blog, Mr. Melcher has an apology for, so far, only posting twice in January, and twice in February in 2013 (didn’t in March).According to its BLOG ARCHIVE, so far, there have been a total of 889 posts there. This is the 463rd painting (471st edition, including nine repeats, and one with two) used in the strip. So, barring repeats (I know of at least one), so far, over 400 paintings have appeared in the blog, that have not appeared here.I don’t know how lucrative the strip is; but other than deciding which blog entry to use, grabbing a picture of it (sometimes including the cursor), and the strip paperwork, zero effort is needed to produce this strip, perhaps several in a day.So, these gaps, first the weekends, and now longer, are puzzling to me.If anyone has read that Mr. Melcher is ending the strip (the blog still points to it), please post a link to the article. Thank you.
The apology (see @mabrndt, above) from Mr Melcher’s blog:.“Sorry, loyal followers. I’ve been unable to keep up with the blog as much as I’d like to recently, but I’ll continue to post when I can. In the meantime, you can always check out some old favorites on my GoComics page (click on the TV to go there). Thanks everybody — Steve.”

Rip Torn is grateful for his big hands. After that storm last night there’s a lot of cleaning up to do.

Pin strips never go out of style, but that looks like something you would cover a mattress in.
