I once heard a radio report on an album collaboration between Michael Bolton and Placido Domingo. They played a clip of Ave Maria with Placido leading off. Absolutely beautiful. When Bolton started singing, you had conclusive proof that the man cannot sing.
And wasn’t it Tom Jones that started the throwing underwear on to the stage? Though I’ve heard that it was actually set up in advance.
