Dana Milbank pretty well nails the real cause of the Congressional problem in his latest column. The Richthuglicons have gerrymandered the Congressional districts to the point that it will take at least a 7.5% majority of total popular votes to win a simple majority of Democratic seats in the House. The Thugs have an all but election-proof majority built into the House and couldn’t care less what a majority of people think of them, democracy be, um, darned.
One would think that the party that had the US Debt Clock on stage at their nominating convention would have proposed a list of substantial spending cuts by now, and would have the guts to defend them.
Hey Jack , Get back! Since Senate is voted on by entire state it can only be gerrymandered by moving people there, OR BY SUPPRESSING THE VOTE! Didn’t work again, did it?And illegals can’t vote!
This probably the first bit of true Bi-Partisism in a long time. Thank you. I’m so sick of the eternal "crisis’ and the politicians sucking all the air out of every place.

I wish the real thing looked like this, the part where elephant and Obama are smiling and working together on a project for real.

Can’t the GOP just fall into that pit that they have dug for another?
