Where have the shoes been, little Calvin?

He was actually being thoughtful…

He comes up with darnedest reasoning. But all mothers know that little boys are not always what they seem to be,at first glance.But Calvin helps me to relive a grand time in my life, raising 5 boys and 2 girls.

Wait until he goes back out to bring in Hobbes, who is still outside playing in the mud. No doubt Mom will be overjoyed.

Now that’s the way a kid’s mind works. Instead of explaining, he just follows the request literally. Consequences? What are they?

As a kid, I wondered why Calvin usually wore shoes at home. I could hardly wait to let my feet breathe.

Mom didn’t know it but she needed more house work to do.

I shudder to think where Calvin has been in those shoes!Hopefully a muddle puddle . . . and not a cow pasture!!!!;-)
