I agree with Earl’s wife; ‘twill make the reverend & congregation think Earl’s breaking the fourth of the Ten Commandments (keep the Sabbath day holy).
Tools in the back means you know how to make things work. I had been helping out at our church. I went home after church instead of going to council elections. I wasn’t running and didn’t have a horse in the race. Next Sunday I was congratulated for winning Facility Chairman.
She should probably just be grateful that he even goes to church with her. Most men would probably rather stay home on Sundays and watch football instead.

A true Plugger woman makes sure the beer cans are out of the car on Saturday night . . . everything else is ok if seen by the church folks.
