Tiff isn’t the only one with the belief that she’ll never age.

In Tiffany’s fantasy, Luann did not age well! Nor did Bernice. But Crystal still looks hot, and the guys (Gunther and Knute) at least are recognizable.

The dark implication being that Tiff will not grow old and will either realise she’s peaked now, or she’s suffering horrible delusions and will be sanctioned soon. Either way, blonde bitch.

Pretty good strip visually, and not just because it has Tiffany in it:) She’s like the elfin queen in Lord of the Rings, beautiful and forever young…sigh:)

everybody becomes old. no one is a dorian gray. using plastic surgery is a temporary fix and doesn’t address the bigger issue, we get old. we will be eating baby food again, wearing diapers, and sleeping for 14 hours a day. one stat is that from 2012-2042, 80 million of us will reach the age of 65+. that means some serious debate and questions on how do we support our older us.

It took nearly 30 years for the gang to age from 13 to 16; at that rate, none of them will ever age much

Echoing the above props to Greg for the fine illustration; aging characters realistically and keeping them recognizable is no easy task. Who wouldn’t want to be forever young physically, were it possible? Yet there is a certain satisfaction in growing older, because (hopefully) with time comes deeper perspective on life, and the wisdom that flows from experience. Instead of being insulted when people offer me a senior discount without my asking, I’m a) flattered, and b) delighted. “Do not resent growing old; it is a privilege denied to many.” (-unknown)

in her mind she will still be 17 but she won’t be able to see how she really looks because her eyes will be covered by her chin from too many face lifts. My sister in law had a face lift about 5 years ago and she still looks like someone scared her. lol

When I was at Florida State U., I didn’t care about how my classmates would look. What was amusing was pretending it was Pajama Day, and all the teachers were in their pj’s, bathrobes, slippers, hair rollers, and such. Imagination and enjoyment thereof much more vivid during those halcyon days . .

Tiffany needs all the joy she can get now.Reality would not be pleasant to those who depend on looks.-Of course, really there is no reason to not imagine biological science advancing to the point where age is not a problem, not just for the rich and famous like she intends to be, but for the lowest of the low, simply because that would be cheaper than medical care of the aging. Most of my medical care has been related to stupid things I did related to youth rather than body breaking down dur to age. Thus if bodies didn’t age, and if I continued with my recent caution in living, we would need far less medical care to keep me going.-Let it be.
